In Loving Memory of Gary Morris

This fundraiser has been set-up to honor and remember a wonderful man who lost his life too soon.

We are heartbroken at the sudden death of Gary Morris on February 17, 2024. Our goal is to ease the burden of Gary’s wife, LaTanya, with any expenses, and for whatever the future holds for her. All donations will go directly to LaTanya Hall-Morris.

Gary was a Christian man of faith who loved the Lord Jesus, he was an amazing husband, and an incredible son, brother, uncle, son-in-law, and brother-in-law. He loved life and his family. He enjoyed ballroom dancing with the love of his life, LaTanya, acting in commercials and Christian plays, singing in the church choir, and coaching sports.

Gary was loved and respected by all who knew him. He had a heart for helping others and touched the lives of everyone he met. He encouraged people and prayed for them. You’d always find him advocating for others, as he was a calm voice of reason. His smile was contagious, and after a conversation with him, you’d be smiling too.

Gary and LaTanya knew one another in high school, however, their paths crossed three decades later, on the set of a movie; then, they reconnected on Facebook where Gary sent her the message, “Maybe we can talk sometime…” He had such a loving way about him. They went on their first date, talked for five hours, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. This blossomed into a beautiful love story, as they built a new life together.

Gary has a wonderful collection of family, friends, and colleagues, as his warmth and kindness made everyone feel welcome. This means so much to me, as I must now navigate losing the most amazing man I’ve ever met, my loving husband, Gary.
