In Loving Memory of Gideon – Supporting the Booker Family

On April 11th 2025, the Booker family's world changed forever when their precious three-year-old boy, Gideon, was unexpectedly called home to be with Jesus. No parent should ever have to face the pain of losing a child, and yet here they are—walking through unimaginable sorrow with quiet strength and grace.

Gideon was full of joy and sweetness—he loved Bob the Builder, Thomas the Tank Engine, cuddles, and Dinosaur. His smile lit up every room he entered, and his presence brought warmth and laughter to all who knew him.

As a community, we want to rally around the Booker family—Mike (Dad), Becky (Mom), and their children Willow ,Bear, Jojo, Harriet, and Micaela—during this deeply painful time. Our hope is to bless them in tangible ways, to ease the burden of practical needs while they grieve, rest, and begin the long journey of healing.

My Relationship to the Family:I have been a close friend of Becky and Mike for over ten years. Our families have shared life together and I love them dearly.

I have added her as the official beneficiary of this fundraiser, which means she will be able to securely receive the funds via direct bank transfer once she is ready.
