In loving memory of Goitom Berhe Hagos

It is with utmost sadness we announce the untimely passing of Goitom Hagos. Goitom Hagos passed away on September 18th 2023 in Denver Colorado.

Goitom Berhe Hagos was born in Shire Endaselassie, Tigray on Apr 1st 1972. He immigrated to the United States in 1992 following his older sister and others with the hopes of a better life. Those who grew up with him described him as a laid back, straight forward and compassionate soul.

Goitom had a heart of gold and was a joy to be around. He always chose to see the good in everyone and those close to him knew he would never end a call without saying I love you. He loved and was loved dearly by his family and community.

Goitom was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, son and friend to many. His passing is an immense loss to all that had the opportunity to know him. He will be deeply missed by everyone in our community. Goitom is survived by his beloved wife Haregu, son Nahum, and his siblings Jirawerki, Alem, Endarge and their families.

While his passing is something we can never truly recover from, we hope to assist in relieving his dear wife and family from the financial burden such a loss can bring. The proceeds of this fund will be to support funeral expenses and to reduce the load on his wife and son during this tragic time. Please continue to keep our family and community in your prayers and please take care of each other.
