In Loving Memory of Greg Tapia

Donation protected
Dear Family & Friends,

It is with heavy hearts that we share that Gregory Tapia, beloved husband, brother, uncle and friend passed away over the weekend (July 11, 2020). At 2:30 am Saturday, Greg was found on the floor of his bedroom struggling to breathe. Paramedics were called but it was too late.

Greg had been struggling for the past 11 years with kidney failure and other health issues. His  right foot had recently been amputated. He had been so eager to get his kidney transplant so he could get back to work. He went through so much but courageously battled with his health issues.

Greg was such a funny, nice, big-hearted, loving giant. He was the best uncle to all his nieces and nephews. A loving brother to his brothers and sister. A wonderful friend to all.  Most of all loved his wife of 29 years, Ana, unconditionally. You would hear him say, “My wife is the most beautiful woman in the world” with a big smile on his face. He wanted to do so much more for Ana and his family but his health issues impeded this.

It breaks our hearts to see him go after a long time of staying strong and fighting but we find peace and satisfaction knowing he is now rejoicing with his mom and dad in heaven.

Unfortunately, this is the 4th loss Ana’s family has experienced in the last year. She lost her mother in June 2019, her brother in November 2019, her deceased brother’s wife in May 2020, and now 2 months later, Greg. Ana also tested positive for COVID-19 within the last 2 weeks and is dealing with the symptoms.

Please consider helping out Ana through this difficult time as she navigates this tragedy and lives forward in life without him. Unfortunately, Greg was unable to leave life insurance for Ana. Donations will go directly to her to help with end of life costs, medical expenses, and her need to relocate to a smaller home.
