In Loving Memory of Hector Manuel Aguilar
Donation protected
It is with a heavy heart that I share that Hector M. Aguilar , beloved father , boyfriend, fur-grandfather, brother, uncle and son passed away on August 9, 2020. Just 8 months after the tragic and sudden death of his father , Hector is reunited with his dad up in Heaven.
Since his father 's passing Hector unfortunately suffered from complications with his illnesses. He was diagnosed with congestive heart failure in addition to his pre-existing diabetes and hypertension. Hector was in and out of the hospital for the last 3 months. He was going through a cycle of getting admitted then discharged , each time leaving with more medication. Then on July 27,2020 just 3 days after his last discharge, Hector was rushed to the emergency due to complications with breathing. He was being given max oxygen treatment and high flow to help his body get the adequate oxygen needed. Around 3 am on July 28, 2020 Hector suffered two cardiac arrests back to back. Immediately after that Hector was given paralyzing/ sedation agents in order to be intubated and placed on a ventilator. They placed him under a hypothermia protocol , which dropped his basal body temperature for 36 hours. His body temperature was then raised back up to normal body temperature for another period of 9 hours. For a week and a half Hector was under heavy sedation medication. His vitals remained stable throughout these two weeks but he lost the battle this past Sunday. His first round of neurological testing showed negative signs of stroke and bleeding. These news gave us so much hope... so much hope for recovery. His EEG then showed signs of epileptic spikes , which indicated Hector was having seizures. He was then placed under seizure medications. His sedation medications were slowly weened off but Hector still remained unresponsiveness. The ICU team then placed Hector on dialysis as his body was then discovered to have toxins that may have been inhibiting his awareness. As these sessions continued, Hector continued to fight. In the end, his ventilation never improved and Hector started to experience agonal breathing. On August 7, 2020 Hector's daughter received the phone call no daughter ever wants to receive. The doctor called and said "don't be surprised if you receive a call later today of your dad's passing... please get here immediately". And just like that two days later Hector gave up the fight.

25 years ago , Hector was granted the gift of becoming a father. He leaves behind his two children Paulina (25) and Hector Jr (23). Hector is a true example of what it means to be father. Hector always put his children first and always pushed them to reach there dreams! No matter what, Hector was present through every event in his children's lives. From student of the month, sport practices/events, volunteering, field trips , he was always there. His children were his everything and they gave him the strength to keep living. He gave them all the love a father should give and always provided them with the best life he could. He was a true role model not only for his kids but for others as well.![](https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50369980_1597216985154625_r.jpeg)
Hector was also granted the opportunity to become a fur-grandpa to a handsome lil yorkie named Teddy. Hector was never a big fan of small dogs but when his daughter brought Teddy around , Teddy was his everything. From buying him treats to always feeding him Tri-Tip , Steak & Chicken Hector spoiled Teddy. He never would admit how much he loved being his grandpa but he would always facetime and ask for Teddy to come over.![](https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/50369980_1597217125838145_r.jpeg)
His girlfriend Stacey shared the following about her loving boyfriend :
" Hector, My Sweet Hector....he will always be a loving, caring, loyal, funny, sweet and a genuine man. Our love for each other was unconditional and like no other. I love him so much and like he would always say “hmm, is that right? So, what I still love you more!”. I miss him like crazy....our talks, his face, his smile, his laughter, his touch, his caring ways, I just miss him! I am broken, my life will never be the same ever again. When he entered Gods Kingdom , he took a part of me with him.
Our future and all the plans that came with it have been cut short because Our Lord had a different plan than what we wanted and HE took my baby to be a Special Angel. I will always be his Corazón and he will always be my Sweet Hector, My Forever Love.
Hector, Until we meet again, you and your Love will be with me Forever in memory and in my heart. I love you.❤️

At this moment in time I know everyone is going through hardship due to Covid-19 , but we ask that you join us in praying for the beautiful Aguilar family. Also , if you are able , please consider helping Hector Aguilar's family financially as they navigate through this tragedy and try to move forward in this life without him.
All donations will go directly to his children Paulina & Hector Jr. to help with end of life costs which include (Funeral and Burial Services). If you would like to donate through other platforms we do have Zelle or Venmo (@Paulina-Aguilar). Life hits us unexpectedly at times and this was one of those instances. We are never prepared to lose a loved one but with the help of God we can all prevail over anything.
