In Loving Memory of Heriberto (Eddie) Gonzalez Jr.

On Monday, November 25, 2024, my dear brother, Heriberto “Eddie” Gonzalez Jr., tragically passed away due to a complication from an epileptic seizure. Unfortunately, this led to a lack of oxygen to his brain for an extended period of time, and despite all efforts, he was unable to recover.

Anyone who had the privilege of knowing Eddie knew him as a gentle giant. He was truly a kind, caring, and selfless person. He always put others first and was always ready to help anyone in need, even if it meant sacrificing his own comfort. Eddie’s generous spirit continues to shine through even after his passing—he made the decision to become an organ donor, and we are honored to know that his legacy will help save and improve lives.

As we work through the grief of losing Eddie so suddenly, we are also faced with the financial burden of arranging a funeral to honor his life and give him the respectful and loving sendoff he truly deserves. Therefore, given the unexpected nature of his passing, my family and I are seeking financial assistance to help cover the costs of his funeral and related expenses.
