In Loving Memory of Ilia Gluzman

November 12, 1950 – October 6, 2024

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ilia Gluzman at the age of 73. Ilia was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who touched the lives of all who knew him. He was known for his patience, generosity, and selfless support for his family and anyone in need.

Originally from the Soviet Union, Ilia moved his family to the U.S. in 1994. In 2001, the family founded The Russian Tea House in Campbell, CA, a beloved community restaurant known for its warmth, hospitality, and excellent Russian and Jewish food. Ilia’s good-natured charm endeared him to customers, creating a legacy of kindness that will be remembered by many.

Ilia is survived by his wife, two children, five grandchildren, and his siblings who live in Israel. In accordance with Jewish tradition, his funeral will take place promptly, and we humbly ask for donations to help cover funeral expenses and to honor Ilia’s memory through tzedakah (charity).

Memorial services will take place on Thursday, October 10th at 2:00 PM, at the Davis Cemetery District and Arboretum, at 820 Pole Line Rd, Davis, CA 95618.
