In Loving Memory of Jaden Gage Harvey

We love you Jaden! It is with great sadness that I am making this page. I have been given permission by my family to create this for Jaden. As many of you know, on September 18th, 2023 at 9:25pm, Jaden was a passenger in a vehicle that was hit by a drunk driver in West Lafayette, Indiana. He wasn't far from home, but was never given the chance to make it back for his 10pm curfew.

Jaden was so loved and only 17 years old at the time he was taken. Like most 17 year old boys, he was enjoying time with a friend. Jaden had went to dinner to celebrate his friend's 17th birthday. The boys were being driven by the friend's mother, who unfortunately lost her life in the accident as well. It breaks our hearts knowing that Jaden's life ended so soon and without warning.

He was the only child to his father Erik. Erik has been a single parent the majority of Jaden's life. That created an unbreakable bond between Erik and his sweet baby boy. He was everything to his dad.

Jaden was loved by his family and friends. It is heartbreaking knowing that his funeral services will be held just shy of his 18th birthday. He should be celebrating turning eighteen, enjoying his senior year of high school at Benton Central, and hanging out with his buddies. He should be laughing, listen to music, working with his hands on projects, playing video games and planning his future. He had that taken from him.

We want you to remember Jaden for who he was, not for how he passed away. To his friends, he was the "hype man."

The guy that was always rooting for you or helping you out. He never asked for anything in return, but was happy to do you a favor. He liked hanging with his buddies in the weight room, spending time with his family or grabbing a bite to eat with a beloved teacher.

We want to do everything we can to give Jaden the best service. We want to celebrate his beautiful life, amazing smile, and kind heart. If you would like to donate for Jaden we would appreciate it more than we could possibly ever show. We are thankful for you and the outpouring of love and support during this time.

All donations will go directly to Jaden's loving father, Erik Harvey.
