In Loving Memory of Jake Kerrigan

Fundraiser in Jake's memory for The Holy Family Special Preschool, Ballytivnan, Sligo and St Cecilia's School, Cregg, Sligo.

We are truly heartbroken since our darling special boy Jake suddenly passed away in our arms on Christmas Eve 2020 aged just 6 years old.  Jake had some difficulties in life and took on many challenges. He was an inspiration to everyone he met as he fully enjoyed every minute of every day and let nothing hold him back. Jake was very sociable and always had a big smile on his face.  Jake never spoke a word but he would light up any room he was in.

After years of investigations Jake finally got a diagnosis in July 2020 of an extremely rare form of a genetic condition called Mitochondrial Disease.

Jake's 7th Birthday is 10th May and we would love to give something back to honour our super hero’s memory to his two Schools which were a very big part of Jake's short life and gave him huge fulfilment and happiness for which we will be forever grateful.

These schools are:

The Holy Family Special Preschool, Ballytivnan, Sligo ( provides each child with the highest quality care, education and training tailored to meet their individual needs and abilities for any child of pre-school age with identified special needs)

And St Cecilia's School, Cregg, Sligo (caters for students with moderate, severe and profound learning disabilities)
