Donation protected
On 8/18/19 Candy and Jason Eberhart tragically lost their son Jason Eberhar Jr. Jason (affectionately called JJ) was the victim of a violent crime in the Carr Square neighborhood of St Louis, MO!
Jason was a 16 year old student at Soldan High School where he had a promising football career. “He had a lot of potential,” The plan was for him to follow his big brother in football.” Eberhart’s brother, Antonio Phillips, plays football for Ball State University. His father played at the University of Illinois and coaches football in the local St. Louis area. Eberhart is the eleventh child or teenager fatally shot in St. Louis city this summer.
The family is requesting assistance with funeral and burial expenses. They unfortunately didn’t have life insurance in place. Any assistance is greatly appreciated in this family’s time of bereavement. The family is distraught over this senseless act of violence. No parent should have to endure this type of pain. Please continue to keep this family in your prayers as they make final arrangements for Jason Jr.
The Eberhart family would like to express their sincerest of gratitude for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support from our community! We appreciate every, call, text, fb post, the prayers and your blessings. We haven’t had the time nor energy to respond and/or thank everyone individually as we are still in deep sorrow.
The family would also like Anyone with information to call the Homicide Division at [phone redacted]. To report a tip anonymously, and possibly receive an award, contact Crime Stoppers at [phone redacted].
