In Loving Memory of Jason - Supporting a Grieving Mother

Hello, my name is Melissa and I am writing this on behalf of my nephew Jason and sister Jessica.

Tragedy has struck our family, and we're heartbroken to announce the passing of Jason, a bright and promising 16-year-old who left us far too soon. Last Sunday night, Jason suffered a devastating accident, falling off an ATV and sustaining severe head trauma. Despite the best efforts of the medical team at CHEO he succumbed to his injuries on Monday September 9th at 1:48 PM, in the embrace of his loving mother Jessica who never left his side during this tragic time.

Jessica, a single mother who raised Jason since she was a teenager herself, is now facing unimaginable grief and challenges ahead. As she navigates this unimaginable time, we want to come together to support her with funeral expenses, ongoing care, and other needs that may arise.

Jason had an impact on everyone he met and was loved by so many people. His story was just beginning, eager to start grade 12 and mere credits away from graduation. His upcoming birthday September 16th, driver's license, and future dreams were all tragically cut short.
