In loving memory of Jaxx Simon Bentley Linton

Jaxx Simon Bentley Linton, infant son of Austin and Hannah Linton, and baby brother to Addie Jane was born silent into this world on December 29th. This sweet little angel has touched the hearts of so many and the depth of his story speaks unbelievable volumes.
Hannah was brave enough to share Jaxx's story with us below.
"A little backstory on his name just because God is to big not to share. Auss & I both agreed on Jaxx Bentley as soon as we knew he was a boy. A few months into my pregnancy I kept having a dream over & over & over of me being in a car wreck & a man coming up to the window to tell me that Peter was going to be okay. I was confused because I didn't know who Peter was, & I asked him again & again who Peter was. All he said was "your baby." I told him that wasn't my baby, & he would always respond with, "because Peters name is actually Simon." After weeks of the same dream over & over, I finally put a fleece up to God, which was my mistake. Not that I didn't trust him, but I wanted to make sure it really was God. The Sunday after I put God on the spot, our church service was about Simon Peter walking on water & how he questioned God about it. The message was about not questioning God when he shows you something the first time, but if you do question him you know he's going to show you the right way. After looking into Simon a little bit more, it spiritually translates to: That hears, that obeys. What a punch in the stomach, uh? After a little more digging, Jaxx translates to: God has been gracious; has shown favor. Another punch, because we had chosen that not knowing the meaning behind it. My sweet Jaxx is pure proof that he has been gracious because he truly is my blessing in disguise & my purest angel that I could ever have watching down on me.
Until I meet you again at the river, mommy loves you more than anything my boy."
Matthew 16:16
Jesus said, "Blessed are you, Simon, for this was not revealed to you by man, but by my Father in heaven. And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church".
Hannah had a perfectly healthy pregnancy, there were no warnings or complications. They went in for their regular 37 week check up on Monday morning only to find out that God had other plans. Baby Jaxx's little heart was no longer beating and they were sent to the hospital to start inducing. Countless prayers for a miracle set in immediately. After 2 1/2 days of labor, our angel was born. Doctors determined that baby Jaxx had been deceased for 4 days before delivery (which would have been Christmas day).
Luke 2:25
Simon had been told that he would not die before he saw the Christ promised by the lord. Spirit lead Simon to the temple where Mary and Joseph brought Jesus. Simon took the baby in his arms and said "Now lord you can let me your servant die in peace, as you promised. With my own eyes I have seen your salvation in which you prepared before all people. It is a light and honor for your people". Then Simon blessed them and turned to Mary and said "God has chosen this child. He will be a sign from god that many will not accept. So that the thoughts of many will be known, and all things that will happen will make your heart sad too".
This is something that no family could ever prepare for. We would like to try to help the family during their grieving process by raising money for baby Jaxx's headstone and unforeseen expenses that may arise from the loss of their precious angel. No contribution is too small, if you can not make a donation please take a moment to share this page and help the Linton family's story reach the world. -God bless!
