In loving memory of Jaydon Smith
Donation protected
It’s with absolute sadness and grief that we are setting up this go fund me page.
Jaydon Smith was a much-loved Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle, Friend and Local Hedland Hero. This man would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat, he has helped so many people within the Hedland community.
The shock and tragic passing of this beautiful soul has left the whole community coming to grips with losing such a true local hero and legend.
With many of us wanting to show our love and support not only to Jaydon’s legacy – but also to his beloved Wife Jodie, Son Diesel, and direct Family, we felt a Go Fund Me page would allow the family to give Jaydon the farewell he truly deserves without the added pressure of financial stress.
Jodie being the true STRONG-WILLED women she is; does not want our help – she believes that she and Jaydons family can do this on their own.
However rather than sending flowers lets show our love and support by chipping in where we can to ensure Jaydons farewell is EPIC and a TRUE SEND OFF to celebrate the life of such a beautiful and well-loved man.
To honour the life of Jaydon any remaining funds will be donated to the chosen charity zero2hero. This charity is particularly close to the heart of Jodie and the Hedland community as their work honours the memory of a dear friend Rhys who also left this world far too soon. zero2hero programs aim to unleash the heroes of today, to become the leaders of tomorrow in the campaign to promote good mental health throughout their communities. They envision a world where all young people are educated to effectively deal with mental health issues, and that mental illness is dealt with openly and treated as a normal part of everyday life.
Any contribution – no matter how big or small will show your love and support to the grieving family; Please share this page – not only to show our support to Jaydon’s Family – but also to show your support to his beautiful memory and to raise awareness for mental health.
For anyone needing to talk about anything please contact Lifeline on - https://wa.lifeline.org.au/ or 13 11 14 – please know there is always someone available to listen
