In Loving Memory of Jean Fulcher
Every year, 40,000 children are born with congenital heart defects in the US. In the 1950’s, when our mother was born with one, that diagnosis was often an immediate death sentence. Through faith and medical breakthroughs, she persevered, finding love and creating a beautiful family over the years. An alumna of Our Lady of the Elms High School and St. Mary’s College, Jean Fulcher was always an outward and giving woman. A loving daughter. A caring sister. A faithful wife. A devoted mother and grandmother. She always put others around her first. On November 17th, 2016, she was taken peacefully after several years of battling heart disease. We want to keep the memory of our mother alive by helping the next generation.
We wish to raise at least a $1,000 for Children’s HeartLink. Working with a team of volunteers worldwide, this Minnesota-based organization helps provide quality healthcare to children around the world. These children face as tough of odds as our mother did. In her honor, we want to give them a chance at life.
Love,
Kate and Mike
