In Loving Memory of Jesela

As many of you have heard, our sweet and spunky Jesela Janae was in a tragic accident this past weekend while out bike riding with her cousins. Like many children do, Jesela was just having fun & enjoying some of her summer vacation with her loved ones! Unfortunately, Jesela suffered life-threatening injuries that she did not recover from. Our hearts are broken and our family is devastated!! Jesela was pure LOVE! If you knew her, you were laughing, dancing, playing soft ball w/her, and/or just consumed by her light and beautiful spirit that was SO full of JOY! Jesela was only 13 years young, so as you can imagine, her family was not prepared or could even imagine having to plan her funeral. We are reaching out to those of you who would like to contribute towards her services.

As some of you also know, Jesela's mom Melady very recently suffered a stroke in June which she is still recovering from. Melady has been SO strong and working towards doing everything she can to get back to her children & husband. Jesela's dad, Jesse, has been doing everything he can to take care of & provide for his family. Their family has remained strong through it all and there is no doubt in my mind that they will get through this together too! This is our opportunity to support and show them that they are not alone during these difficult & devastating and times. All funds raised will be applied towards Jesela's funeral services. Any remaining amount will go to Jesela's parents to help see them through.

Jesela's parents and siblings (Christina & lil Jesse) are SO grateful for those who have already contributed and all who have supported them in ANY way. We cannot thank you all enough!! Thank you to *all* of Jesela's family, friends, softball sisters/parents/coaches, class mates, teachers, strangers, community members, etc.
