In Loving Memory of Jesse Galvez

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Jesse Galvez on September 29, 2024.

Jesse was born on October 22, 1958, in Austin, Texas, to his loving parents, Eliazar Galvez Sr. and Angela Elizondo-Galvez.

Jesses radiant smile and kind heart touched the lives of many. He was a compassionate soul who always put others before himself. His warm and vibrant personality lit up every room he entered, and his genuine love and care for those around him were truly remarkable.

Despite the betrayal of his ex wife’s infidelity Gloria Lucio-Galvez-Torres in 2000 he was able to move on from a deep depression by focusing on his mother Angela and caring for her during her time of need until the hour of her death.

Jesse was a remarkable individual who excelled in woodworking and carpentry.

He obtained a vocational degree in high school in woodworking and pursued a career for over 25 years in the carpentry industry.

His dedication and passion for his work in the carpentry field were apparent to all who knew him. Through his talents, he brought joy and inspiration to countless individuals.

Besides his professional accomplishments, Jesse cherished his time spent with family and friends.

Jesse was an abide Texas Longhorn and die hard Dallas Cowboys fan. Go Horns, Hook’em.

He is survived by his siblings Betty Jean Galvez-Ramos, Eliazar Galvez Jr., Mary Angela Galvez-Moreno and Sylvia Galvez-Harkrider, as well as nephews John Ramos Jr., John Ramos III, and Jesse Ramos who was named in honor of Jesse Galvez.

He survived by countless other nephews, grand nephews, nieces and grand nieces.

Jesse’s love for his family knew no bounds, and he always made sure to lend a helping hand or a listening ear when needed. His unwavering support and unconditional love will forever be treasured.

Jesses memory will be forever etched in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. His infectious laughter and caring nature have left an indelible impact on the lives he touched. As we grieve his loss, let us also remember the joy and happiness he brought into this world.

Friends and family are invited to gather and share their cherished memories of Jesse, finding solace in each other's presence during this difficult time.

May we find comfort in the precious memories we shared with Jesse and the knowledge that his spirit will live on within us. Jesse Galvez will forever remain in our hearts as a shining beacon of love, kindness, and warmth.

You are now reunited with our mother, I know how much her death hurt and devastated you.

Rest in eternal peace, dearest brother. You will be deeply and profoundly be missed.
