In Loving Memory of Joe Davenport

In January 2024, Joe was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. He started treatment in March which involved having chemotherapy & immunotherapy every 3 weeks. He showed nothing but resilience and strength throughout his battle. He was so positive even when he was faced with many challenges.

After 5 long hard months of treatment, Joe was rushed into hospital after facing a rare side effect from the immunotherapy.

On Saturday 3rd August, Joe sadly passed away surrounded by his family.

You were an amazing husband. A precious son , brother & Uncle.

And most importantly an incredible dad to Ruby, Ella, Taylor & Lottie.

We are asking for donations to be made instead of flowers to the Intensive Care Unit at Stoke Mandeville Hospital who worked so hard to care for Joe, keeping him comfortable in his last moments.

We are also raising the money for a charity called 4Louis which helps create memory boxes for young children who are grieving the loss of a parent.

My darling, you were so brave, thank you for always keeping me strong. I love & miss you so much. Until we meet again.
