In Loving Memory of Joel Stutzman
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Drew Gerard and it is with a heavy heart that I share the sudden and devastating loss of my brother-in-law, Joel Christopher Stutzman, to suicide. I created this page to raise funds to help the family with funeral expenses, to set up a trust for his beautiful 9-year-old daughter, Stella, and to donate to Suicide Awareness Charities.
Joel was 36 years old and was working hard on improving his life and developing a spiritual relationship with God. He had come through some big life challenges but was doing everything he could to change direction. Joel leaves behind a 9-year old daughter, Stella, whom he loved immensely! She was the reason he was so intent on getting his life back together and boy did he smile big when he talked about her.
That smile of his would light up the room, and his silly sense of humor made everyone laugh. He had such a loving soul and always wanted to help others, even when he was struggling financially himself. He loved all things Cleveland sports and would always be found wearing a baseball cap.
We don't understand why Joel made this decision, but we are committed to honoring his life and making sure his daughter Stella knows how much she is loved and cared for. Please consider donating. Even the smallest amount will help. We will use the money to pay for
funeral expenses, make a contribution to support his daughter, and anything extra will go towards suicide prevention to help reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and help promote awareness.
Joel is loved by many, Joel will be missed by all.
