In loving memory of Johnny "JJ" Solis.

Johnny J Solis, known as "JJ", to his family, friends, and beloved community, sadly passed away last Saturday. On behalf of the Solis-Salcido family, we are devastated, to say the least as it was very unexpected. At this difficult time, we are trying to process our loss. Not only was he a great brother, he was also a great tio, cousin, friend, etc. He was truly part of the community. If you knew JJ, consider yourself blessed to have had someone like him as part of your journey. Our brother JJ was very energetic from a very young age. He never lost it with so many of us running through that house driving our mom up the wall. He loved to make people laugh with weird, made-up slogans. He lived a high-spirited life, and enjoyed it to the fullest. He loved to dance, take pictures of everything and everyone. He always gave and helped many, from those he loved and hardly knew.

"JJ, you raised me, held me, rocked me, taught me, even combed my hair. You were my father when he couldn't be. I'm hurting so much right now. My mom… and now you. My heart aches. Who is going to call me to check in and just say, “I love you”. You touched so many lives. The neighborhood Santa for all. Te querio hermano."

We would like to give him the best services that reflect his legacy of the giving man he was to us all. I am currently asking for donations to help cover the cost of our brother Johnny J. Solis's funeral services.
