In Loving Memory of Jolene Osiecki

I just wanted to take a moment and thank all of those who have donated and offered their condolences so far. We are still far from our goal and welcome any future donations.

On March 27th, 2024, Jolene Osiecki passed away at a care facility in St. Louis Park, MN. Her death comes as a shock to her family, who was anticipating welcoming her back home in the coming months following a lengthy hospital stay and recovery from a series of illness.

With no Will and no plan for after life care, it is now up to her family to come up with the funds for cremation and memorial services. The funeral home has quoted us at $3500 and if we are unable to pay, well....it doesn't bare contemplating.

We, the family, would like her remains to belong in our care and not the state's, so please contribute anything you can to help ensure Jolene receives a proper send off.

Jolene Osiecki was born to Virginia and Harold Meintsma on July 9th or 1961. She had two incredibly weird children, Michaela and Joseph, who will miss her dearly.

She worked many different jobs throughout her life - truck stop cook, production at a glass company AND at a cabinet company, and she had a short stint as an elementary school substitute teacher.

Jolene saw the good in everyone, she loved socializing and hosting for the holidays, and she enjoyed being outside in her garden. Her favorite television series were Criminal Minds and she loved reading Janet Evanovich's books. It's a shame she never got around to writing her own book detailing all her hilarious online dating adventures.

Jolene Osiecki (63) of Buffalo, MN passed away on the date of Wednesday, March 27th of 2024. She is survived by her two children: Michaela and Joseph, her siblings: Ron and April, and her father: Harold. She is preceded in death by her mother: Virginia, and her younger brother: Steve.
