In Loving Memory of Jonathan Aldrete
Donation protected
On May 28, 2021, Jonathan Aldrete, beloved brother, son, friend, and all around an amazing person, passed away suddenly and without explanation. He has left us too soon and has left us completely heartbroken and shocked. He was 30 years old, and is survived by his little sister, Melissa A (myself), and his Mother, Father, and older brother.
He may have been the middle child of three kids but to both my brother and I, he was the eldest, as he took care of this family like no one else could and not because it was asked or expected of him but because that was the kind of person he was. A man who devoted his life to making sure his family was kept afloat during difficult times.
Jonathan, to whom I lovingly called (Fluffly) was the kindest, funniest, most hardworking person I knew. He often worked over 40 hours a week not for himself but to keep our family going. Fluffy was also a very reserved and somewhat shy person, but that never stopped him from putting a smile on a strangers face. Anyone who really got to know him knew he had a big loving heart and he always gave the best hugs, which is one of the things I will miss the most. Every time I came to visit that is one thing he would do without missing a beat, give me a huge warm hug.
We are all still trying to emotionally process his death and make sense of everything and we are still trying to get more information on how much his funeral will cost. The funds raised will strictly go to covering the cost of his funeral and any bills left unpaid to lessen the financial burden on my parents. Information with scheduling for his funeral will be passed along as soon as we have updated information.
We thank everyone for your thoughts and prayers and appreciate any kindness given to us during this heartbreaking experience.
*UPDATE: We have started the funeral process and have a more exact number of the final costs. We have updated that information to reflect on the fundraising goal. Our most deepest thanks to everyone that has donated so far, you truly do not understand how much all this help and support means to us, we are in disbelief in the amount of support our Jonathan is getting. He was truly loved and will be remembered.
Further updates on the dates of the wake and the burial will be given as information is updated.
