In Loving Memory of Jose “Chubby” Vargas

Early Sunday morning on August 11, 2019 Jose "Chubby" Vargas passed away peacefully in his sleep at home. These past few years were his toughest due to all the complications that came along with his illness being CHF (Chronic Heart Failure). He was working with only 9% of his heart and was truly suffering towards his end of life.
He leaves behind two sons, his oldest Joel 17 yrs old and his youngest Joseph 14 yrs old.
As most other parents were busy preparing their kids, making sure they have all they need for the new school year or as others like to call it, first day of school. I was left alone preparing myself on how to tell my boys that their father has passed and is no longer with us. By far this has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do and all before their first day of a new school year.. 
Chubby was well known. Everyone that knew him, knew he was a lover of food and of course his FUNK music! He was the life of the party, a PEOPLE's person overall. He truly was a fighter that fought til the very end. As his words were always, "you can't keep a good man down"
Since his passing their has been many stories and rememberences of Chubby and the Love that everyone has for him cause he was that guy, one of a kind, He will greatly be missed by all but his memory will live forever...
I would also like to say, that with all of the emotional pain and stress that death brings, it has also brought a financial burden that has left us here trying to raise money to cover all costs to give him a decent service and burial he deserves.
