In loving memory of Jose Velasco
Donation protected
It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the untimely passing of Jose Velasco, a beloved father, son, and cherished friend. Jose, affectionately known as "Chino" by those close to him, tragically lost his life in a car accident on February 3rd, 2024. His vibrant presence, characterized by a positive attitude and an infectious laughter, brought joy to everyone he encountered.
We remember Jose as a talented artist and loved to cook for his friends and family. He loved spending time with his son Joey and spending time in Venice Beach. Whether you knew Jose from his school days in Upland, through one of his jobs, or were fortunate enough to receive a tattoo from his hands, his sudden loss has undeniably left a deep void that has left his family shocked, saddened and disbelief.
As we prepare to pay our final respects to Jose and arrange furneral arrangements, we are reaching out to our community for support through this GoFundMe campaign to help alleviate some of the financial stress during this incredibly difficult time.
Our Goal: We aim to raise funds to cover the funeral and memorial expenses for Jose, ensuring that we can give him the farewell he deserves. Any additional funds raised will go towards supporting his son Joey in the coming months, providing some financial relief as we navigates this challenging period.
How You Can Help:
Donate: Any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in the lives of Jose's family during this critical time.
Share: If you cannot donate at this time, sharing this campaign with your network can also greatly help in reaching more people who might be able to contribute.
Send Love and Support: Words of encouragement, stories about Jose, or any messages to the family are incredibly appreciated.
The love and memories shared by Jose will forever remain in our hearts. In his memory, we unite to support his family through this unimaginable loss. The Velasco family extends their deepest gratitude for your kindness, generosity, and overwhelming support during this difficult time. Our parents are overwhelmed by the support and love of Jose's friends and family. Thank you to everyone who has shared, donated, and stopped by to visit us during these difficult times to share their personal stores with Jose. Thank you for helping us honor the life of Jose "Chino" Velasco.
