Funeral expenses for Juan Carlos Torres

Juan Carlos Torres was 18 years old when he lost his battle to live. At 9 months of age he was diagnosed with BOOP, Bronchiolitis Obliterans Organizing Pneumonia, and Laryngomalacia, congenital softening of the tissues of the larynx (voice box) above the vocal cords. He required a feed tube and tracheostomy. Juan was in and out of the hospital for years before he finally received a lung transplant.

On June 3rd, Juan started vomiting. He was rushed to the hospital where he began to have seizures and two heart attacks. He underwent two brain surgeries the following days. On June 9th he had his final heart attack. Juan was vibrant and always smiled even in the darkest of his times. Juan leaves behind a loving mother, brother and cousins who would cheer him up. Juan gets to finally see his father who died in a tragic car accident before his birth.
