In loving memory of Kadance Elise Fredericksen

Kadance was the definition of a role model for so many people who looked up to her. She founded Kada's Promise with a mission to provide comfort through teddy bears to children who have been neglected or abuse. She bravely turned her past into triumph and change the lives of every child she connected with.

Under the banner of Kada's Promise, she has made a significant impact, having collected and distributed over 12,000 teddy bears and blankets internationally to children enduring abuse or trauma. Kadance's remarkable contributions have not gone unnoticed. In 2019-2020, her hometown of Crestview honored her with the prestigious title of Citizen of the Year, acknowledging her exceptional service and dedication.

Pageantry has played a pivotal role in Kadance's personal development, fostering her confidence, self-esteem, and public speaking abilities over the past seven years. Her triumph as Little Miss Northwest Florida in 2017 served as a platform to amplify her advocacy for the Ronald McDonald House, culminating in a remarkable fundraising effort exceeding $25,000. She was proudly Miss Okaloosa County Teen USA with a mission to continuously inspire and make a positive impact in her community and beyond.

Kadance's goal was to have her passion project expand across the state of Florida and the United States. Please join us in her remembrance and help her family continue her impactful legacy.
