In Loving Memory of Kaila Marie Villalobos - Memorial Fund

It brings me great sadness to have to create this GoFundMe account for my dear friend Kelly Satoshige, whose daughter, Kaila Marie Villalobos, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2024.

Kaila was born with Cornelia de Lange Syndrome, a condition she bravely navigated throughout her life. Despite the challenges she faced, her spirit and courage left a lasting impression on those who knew her.

Earlier this month, Kaila was admitted to Sherman Oaks Hospital for what was initially believed to be respiratory distress. However, it was later discovered that she had suffered a cardiac arrest. She was subsequently transferred to Keck Medicine USC Hospital, but despite the efforts of her doctors and the love of her family, Kaila passed away.

Her family, including father Bill Villalobos and mother Kelly Satoshige, are now left grappling with both emotional and financial burdens.

Kaila's passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who loved her, but her memory will live on in the lives she touched. The Villalobos and Satoshige families extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have offered support during this difficult time.

Celebration of Life for Kaila will be held on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 11:30am. Location is at Hart Park House Senior Center, 222 West Sierra Madre Avenue, Sierra Madre. We would like to thank you all for your generosity and support.
