On the night of Saturday, March 18th, Kareem and friends went to dinner at The Collection in Oxnard. While heading to his vehicle, they found themselves surrounded by a group of boys. The unknown group of boys attacked Kareem and his friends unprovoked. Unfortunately as Kareem and his friends tried to get away, Kareem was stabbed. The group of boys all fled the scene and Kareem was rushed to the hospital where he passed away, succumbing to his injures. Kareem was 19 years young and had a whole future ahead of him. We are fundraising to help his mom lay him to rest. He was her only son and was very loved. Kareem had such a pure soul and lit up every room he stepped in. His dedication motivated those around him and he will be missed.
