In Loving Memory of Kayden: A Hero Who Will Save Lives

On the afternoon of Saturday, April 5th, 2025, our world was forever changed. Kayden, a vibrant 13-year-old with a bright smile and a heart full of adventure, was riding his scooter near a friend’s house out in the country. A tragic accident involving a vehicle led to our lives being turned upside down.

Since that fateful day, Kayden has been in critical condition, fighting for his life at Valley Children’s Hospital. Despite the heroic efforts of doctors and nurses, Kayden suffered a traumatic brain injury and has succumbed to his injuries. While it is an unimaginable heartbreak for our family, we are comforted knowing that Kayden’s spirit of kindness and generosity lives on. His organs will be donated to save the lives of 5-8 children through organ donation. In this way, our precious boy, who touched so many hearts, will continue to be a hero, giving hope to other families who might face the pain of losing a child.

Kayden leaves behind his loving family—his older sisters Katherine & Kya, his twin brother Kash, his younger brothers Karson & Remi, his younger sisters Dallas, Khloe, & Chevele, Mother Britney and Father Orrin. There are countless lives that Kayden has touched and his extended friends & family will miss him dearly. We will forever carry his memory in their hearts. As we navigate this devastating loss, we are asking for support to help with the expenses of his medical care and celebration of life arrangements. The financial burden of this tragic situation is immense, and any contributions, big or small, will make a meaningful difference during this incredibly difficult time.

Kayden’s stepfather, Dillon, has also asked for the support of our community to help raise awareness of this tragedy, and to honor Kayden’s memory. We are using the hashtag #JusticeForKayden, as we work together to make sure that his story is heard, and that no other family experiences the same pain that we have.

Though our hearts are shattered, we are eternally grateful that Kayden’s life will continue to impact others in the most profound way. We will always remember his laughter, his love for life, and his endless energy. He was a light to all who knew him, and now, that light will continue to shine in the lives of others.

We thank you for your love, prayers, and support during this heart-wrenching time. It means the world to us.
