In Loving Memory of Kelly Ann Herman

UPDATE: 7/22/23 It is with great sadness that AJ did not make it as he succumbed to his injuries. He fought a good fight. We are comforted that he is in the loving arms of his mother Kellyann.

Hello, my name is Deanna Herman. I have never set up a GoFundme fundraiser before and I wish to God that I didn't have to right now. However, this past Saturday, July 15th, the lives of the Hermans, Carters & Thompsons were turned upside down due to the sudden and tragic loss of Kelly. (Kelly is my niece. The daughter of Steve Herman)

Kelly and her oldest child AJ were both struck by a vehicle due to a three-car collision. Kelly died at the scene and AJ is still fighting for his life at St. Christopher's. Kelly also leaves behind two beautiful daughters, Khloe and Brooklyn. Kelly was a wonderful mother to her 3 children and our hearts ache that she was taken so soon from them.

Kelly was a single mother raising her 3 kids in Oscala, Florida. She moved to Florida a few years ago for a better job and to ensure a secure life for her kids. She was getting ready to purchase a new home there as she was sure she had found her second home (you can't take Philly out of our girl...).

Kelly was in town this past weekend so she and the kids could visit family. What was supposed to be a happy reunion has now turned to the family having to plan her funeral and take care of her affairs.

I have set up this GoFundme to help her family with funeral expenses and other financial burdens.
