In Loving Memory of Kenneth V.

While racing with his son Ryan at the motocross track on Friday night on the evening of June 2nd, 2017, Kenneth (Ken) Vandevelde, at age 45, suffered a major heart attack due to an undiagnosed heart condition. The unexpected loss has brought an enormous amount of heartbreak and devastation to Ken’s family and his community. He is survived by his wife Jennifer, his son Ryan, his 3 daughters Samantha, Brittany, and Heather, his grandson Mason, his parents Fred and Alice, his brother Robert, his sister Christine, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Ken was a U.S. Navy veteran, had a passion for motorcycles and dirt bikes, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He would spend hours in the backyard playing catch with his daughters or practicing for the next motocross race with his son. On the weekends, he loved to be racing, camping, or boating with his family and friends. He lived a happy and adventurous life, with the intent of creating the most fulfilling life for his family. There are no words to describe the suffering and pain that his family is enduring during this time. All proceeds will be provided to the family for funeral expenses and financial stability.
