In loving memory of Kent Porter

Kent Porter loved his family. More than anything else. Everyone felt this when his brave daughter Emma lost her battle with Rett Syndrome, just a few years ago. 

Now his sudden death at such a young age has not only stripped the world of Kent and his wonderful spirit but left his family in a real bind.

His absence from his family will be sorely missed beyond words. Liz, the love of his life, is four months pregnant. He is also survived by their oldest daughter Anna (22), who will not be the same without her dad's influence and continued guidance, and Sam (15), who has lost his best friend and fishing buddy. Then there’s Gabriel. Sweet Gabriel is only three.

I can’t imagine how hard it was to tell his children the news.

But even harder, is trying to pick up the pieces. We estimate that this has put the Porter family in a financial hole of approximately $80,000.   

With the gravity of rebuilding a life without Kent ahead of them, this fund has been set up to support the family Kent leaves behind for anything they might need.

Please help donate whatever you can so that we make sure his young family is well taken care of. Funds will be sent directly to Liz so that she can provide for their family through this troubling time and beyond.
