In Loving Memory of Kevin Michael Gerrity

It is with a heavy heart that we bring you the sad news of the passing of our devoted friend Kevin Gerrity. Kevin, a loving husband, father, son, brother, and friends, passed away unexpectedly on August 19, 2020. The light that he shared with the world has been extinguished much too soon. But that light will continue to shine in our hearts forever. Always jovial and good-humored, Kevin’s presence brought a smile to any situation. Intelligent, considerate, compassionate, and yes, even goofy at times, these are just some of the qualities that made Kevin so special. Indeed, these are the qualities that endeared him to us. Kevin passed away two years and one day after earning his black belt in Hawaiian Kenpo Karate. He was blessed to have shared his passion with so many men and women through the establishment of his own dojo.  This allowed him the opportunity to share his knowledge with his family and students. Kevin’s pride and devotion that he exhibited in his work at Anchor Loans, served to honor his colleagues and clients. Those who have come together to share our common grief over his tragic passing is evidence of the love he inspired in us all. Now we must all come together and support his devoted wife Norma, and his loving children Katie and Sean. We are setting up this “Go-Fund Me” Campaign so that those who loved him can share the opportunity to help his wife and children cope with the financial challenges associated with his untimely passing. We ask you to look into your hearts and reflect on the many joys that Kevin brought to our lives, and in so doing, remain mindful of the needs of those that were most precious to him.
