In Loving Memory of Kobe Elijah Kreps
Donation protected
On the morning of January 6th, we lost Kobe Elijah Kreps, a beloved son, big brother, grandson, cousin, nephew, and friend. No parents should have to bury their 18-year-old son.
The family would like to thank everyone for their prayers, thoughts, and for reaching out to send love. It is deeply needed and appreciated. Many have expressed a desire to support his parents, Danny and Whitney, and sisters, Zoe and Zuri, during this difficult time. In addition to providing a way to help with funeral costs, the family would also like to create a lasting legacy in Kobe's honor.
Over the last two years Kobe battled depression and more recently addiction. In recent conversations, Kobe talked about being a counselor at either a mental health or addiction treatment center. He was open and unguarded in his struggles and he would have helped many. In his honor, the family will be establishing a memorial fund and will direct donations to extremely important causes including mental health, addiction, and CTE research. This may take several weeks, so if you wish to contribute to this fund directly, we will share the details at a later time. If you would like to contribute now, you can contact the organizer to indicate what portion you would like to go toward the future memorial fund.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, January 20th, at 10:00 am at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Chapel, located at 740 S. Edmonds Ln., Lewisville, TX 75067. All are welcome. A private graveside service for the family will immediately follow at Swisher Cemetery, located in Lake Dallas, TX. Kobe loved vintage, unique, and comfortable clothing. If you plan to attend, in honor of him, please wear your favorite hoodie, jeans, pajama pants, beanies, sneakers, or favorite article of clothing.
