In Loving Memory of Kody Joseph Furioso

Sept 19th 2004 to June 29th 2021

As many of us know, a wonderful young man lost his life on June 29th, 2021, in an unfortunate act of violence. This was an event that no family should ever have to go through, or endure. As friends to Kathy (Kody's Mom), our hope and wish is that memories of Kody reflect the truly amazing, caring, compassionate, friendly, funny, courageous, adventurous, loving, and selfless young man that he was.

The purpose of this GoFundMe is to assist Kathy with any funeral expenses, memorials, or any other unexpected costs associated with this tragic event. Please feel free to donate as much, or as little, as you can spare. Anything is appreciated, even if it is just reading and sharing Kody's life story.

Kody Joseph Furioso, beloved son of Kathy, and brother to Kassidy, was nothing but a shining star. The bond Kody, Kathy, and Kassidy shared as a family was immeasurable. From the many hockey games, hockey tournaments, and family trips in his younger years, to the numerous trips made with their trailer camping, they spent countless hours together making memories.

Kody had a great love of the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, swimming, fishing (especially with his own boat which he proudly captained), and just exploring the outdoors in general. Kody loved animals and had a unique gift/ability to attract, calm, and soothe them. His best, and most faithful, friend was his dog, Stanley, who was always by his side. His love of all animals was evident in the frequent fostering he, and his family, did on an ongoing basis.

Kody was an amazing son, brother, grandson, and friend. He was well loved and will be fondly remembered, especially his captivating smile that many say would light up a room.
