In loving memory of Kun Lin
Donation protected
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the news of the tragic passing of Kun Lin on Friday, February 12, 2021. His life was tragically taken from us and the devastation we feel is impossible to express. Kun was a beloved son, a caring brother, a treasured friend, and a colleague that was loved by all. Kun was a PhD candidate in the Graduate Neuroscience Program at Emory University. Kun was an amazing person. Full of radiant energy, intellect and passion. He was a kind soul that never hesitated to help those around him. He had so much potential and he was going to change the world. So many people were touched by Kun and we will all miss his dearly.
Please consider helping out his loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward in life without him. Donations will go directly to his parents and sister to help with end of life costs and future expenses. Kun's family will have an intimate funeral in Philadelphia. A virtual memorial will be planned by the Bassell Lab at Emory University. We will keep everyone updated with forthcoming plans.
This fundraiser has been created with the approval of his family. We are in close contact with them and will be here to support them as they navigate this tragedy. Any questions can be directed to me and I will be relay them to his family.
With great sadness,
Linda Nguyen, Bassell Lab Manager
