In Loving Memory of Lauren Braithwaite
Donation protected
Yesterday, a woman loved by so many has sadly left this Earth.
Lauren Rose Kerrigan Braithwaite was a beautiful, charming mother-of-three, daughter, sister, cousin and cherished friend. Loved by many people, Lauren was a joyous light in our darkest moments. Her laugh lightened up any room, her moxie and bright outlook was a ray of sunshine in our hearts and minds. She had integrity, will, ambition, and was beautiful inside and out. While she protected us from our demons, she sadly lost the battle with her own.
Lauren took her own life.
In many ways, she was a victim of wrongdoings. Unaided by the people vowing to help her, her situation only got worse and her cries for help went unanswered. Lauren was a victim of mental health, living in an area with limited access to the help she so desperately needed. She was a victim of domestic abuse, lost her own friends to suicide, and lost her will to keep trying. She lives on in our hearts and minds, but she is not here; with us, now, where she belongs.
This isn't over, this is our last stretch to help our dear friend, one last time.
In the current global circumstance we find ourselves in, we are asking for anyone to share or contribute in any way they can, to financially aid Lauren's funeral. No matter how big or small, any donation is a blessing for our courageous companion, who deserved so much more than she received.
"We all lose friends.. We lose them in death, to distance, and over time. But even though they may be lost, hope is not. The key is to keep them in your heart, and when the time is right, you can pick the friendship right where you left off. Even the lost find their way home when you leave the light on" - Amy Marie Walz
