In Loving Memory of Linda Anel Macias

Family and friends,

Our big sister Linda gained her wings on Monday, October 10th. Linda was diagnosed with cancer in 2019, which unfortunately spread drastically.

On October 10th, 2019, a CT scan showed a mass near her bladder. She then proceeded with a partial cystectomy. Unfortunately, by August 2021, the results showed evidence of a cancerous tumor in her lung and liver. On September 15, 2021, a biopsy showed evidence of metastatic urachal carcinoma, a rare form of bladder cancer that arises from the urachus. Sadly, chemotherapy wasn’t showing any progress. The doctors recommended she stop the treatments as this was causing more harm than good.

At this point, Linda decided to stop chemotherapy and instead use her time to create beautiful memories with her kids and family. She never gave up on her kids no matter the circumstance and always stayed strong for her kids. She was always next to them at every soccer practice and game.

She leaves behind four kids: Arlet (14), Anthony (10), Michelle (7), and Julian (5). She was the best mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend anyone could ask for. She was selfless and was always willing to help anyone in need.

It fills our hearts with joy to know that many people loved her. We will deeply miss our beloved Linda, but it gives us peace knowing that she has been reunited with baby Abigail. Thank you all for the prayers, calls, messages and social media posts. We would love to give her the final goodbye she deserves, so we humbly ask for donations to cover funeral services and education for our Kippsters. Thank you!
