In Loving Memory of Lisa Serna

Dear family and friends,

On Thursday afternoon May 18th, my beautiful mother Lisa Serna passed away surrounded by our family. Those of you who know Lisa know she had a heart of gold and would do anything for those she loved. Lisa is one of the most giving, selfless, thoughtful and loving souls that we are all so grateful to have experienced. She was a complete ray of light, an endless source of laughter & joy, and the true embodiment of love. She deeply cared about her family & friends but there’s nothing in this world that Lisa loved more than her seven grandbabies Shaun, Seante, Macky, Jordan, Jessie, Paradise and Aniyah. We all have so many memories of her kindness, her playfulness, her ability to show up for us when we needed it most, and her perpetual ability to light up a room and bring joy to all the people in it.

As some of you may not know my mother has had a long battle with chronic illness. Due to her medical conditions, our family was not able to obtain life insurance and although she struggled for some time in many ways, this is all happening very suddenly and quickly. I’ve created this account to help raise funds to lay our beloved Lisa to rest. She was the light in every room, the fun at every gathering, and the smile that never ended.
