In loving memory of Lloyd Smith
Donation protected
Lloyd Smith.
On Tuesday 23rd July Honeybourne went darker, and we lost a massive part of our village.
Lloyd has battled with his mental health for a long time and unfortunately couldn't see the light at the end of tunnel; and devastatingly took his own life.
Lloyd was very special to so many people; he was always willing to help anyone in needed and one of the most caring people out there.
It was often said that Lloyds laugh could be heard 10 minutes before he was seen, and his smile lit up any room he stood in; but most of all his heart was made of solid gold.
I know if he could see the outpour love that everyone has showed him, he would be gobsmacked; I don’t think for a second he realised how much he was appreciated and loved.
Mental health, especially in men, is not spoken enough about; for those who are going through a hard time please speak out, you are far from alone.
As most of us will never contemplate saving for our children’s funeral, we have created this GoFundMe page to raise money to help cover the costs of Lloyds funeral; I’m sure everyone will agree that Lloyd’s funeral should not be a burden on his mum Karen Smith, and his sisters Jodie and Naomie; please help us help them so they can grieve and mourn in private without any fears of finance.
Thank you for reading.
