In loving memory of Malikye Younker

Malikye Younker was an incredibly loved and cherished 22 y/o young man who was at the start of his life. He passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on June 3rd, 2024, at his home in Henderson, NV. He loved his mother Michelle Bosch and step-father Matt, his brother Tucker Swank, extended family, many friends, his dogs Kota, Asia, and the recently departed Ash. Kye, as he was known, would do whatever he could to help someone in need. He loved snowboarding with his brother and their friends, playing video games, and being around his cousins. Of all the family and friends, he loved spending time with Tucker most of all. He graduated from Goodland High School in Goodland, KS in 2021. He wanted to be closer to his brother so he moved to Henderson at the end of 2021.

Kye always brought smiles to those who were around him. He could talk for hours about anything and loved learning new things.

Kye loved working with his brother, Tucker, at Lee Canyon this last summer and winter. On work days, they had an hour and a half drive every morning and every night. During those drives Kye would talk to Tucker about work, music, or just random things. Kye met many strangers that became friends up at the mountain. His new friends got him outside to his first few raves. On the mountain, he loved ax throwing and archery in the summer, and snowboarding during the winter.

Kye was a funny, bright shining light in the lives of his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Michelle and Matt Bosch of Mesa, AZ, and his brother, Tucker Swank of Henderson, NV, aunts Stephanie and Mike Woods of Duncan, OK, Desiree Younker and Robert Perkins of Richardson, TX, uncle Dallas and Regina Younker of Manning, ND, grandmothers Bobbi Strait of Manning ND and Connie Dearden of Abilene, TX, grandfather Blair and Mary Younker of Lubbock, TX, and 14 cousins. He was preceded in death by his uncle, Brandon Younker.

Funds are needed to assist with travel costs and burial expenses and other unforeseen expenses that arise in times like these.
