In loving memory of Marcus Maloney

Hi, my name is Amanda and I'm setting up this fund on behalf of the Maloney family. Tragically, on September 16th, 2022, Marcus Maloney died at the age of 18, only 4 days before his 19th birthday, of a heinous act of violence. Marcus' death has left a deep and overwhelming sadness in my heart, shattering the lives of his family, especially his mother Kelly and 2 young siblings Vivienne and Victor and devasting the lives of his many close friends. Although Marcus was taken from us too young, the impact he had on those around him will last a lifetime.

To pay tribute to Marcus' memory, these beautiful words were written by one of his closest friends, Jacob. "Marcus Maloney was a free spirit that had a heart of gold, he was a goth boy with a soul that lit up the room. He was so genuine and excepting of everyone, he never turned anyone away. If you needed help he was there if you needed to talk, he was always down to just listen. He was just that type of guy, the type of guy that walked into a room and didn’t even have to say a word and everyone would start cracking up and if you ever party with Marky, which I’m sure most of you have, it was always go big or go home and that man never went home. He always did everything to the fullest extent and we loved him for it. That kid was scared of nothing, if it looked fun he didn’t care and that’s how he lived life, two fingers up and nobody could bring him down; and like Marky used to always say hey buddy man it’s not goodbye. It’s see you later. So on that note let’s get this party on the road".
