In Loving Memory of Maria Elena Martinez "Nena"

Hello Everyone,

We hope this message finds you well. We are reaching out today to share Maria Elena’s story and ask for your support.

Maria Elena Martinez (or as her family would call her; “Nena/Tia Nena”) was such a loving, caring, selfless, genuine, strong, self-willed, and compassionate woman. She was a Mom, Aunt, Grandma, Sister, and Godmother who positively impacted not only the lives of ALL of her family but also the lives of people in public wherever she so happened to be. We know this because we were there to witness the effect of her words and the advice she would give to everyone. To this day, we have yet to meet anyone with so much goodness and generosity in their heart.

Nena was a shoulder bag-toting, sunshade-wearing, bus-riding, church-going gift from God of a woman whose goodness radiated everywhere she went. In her lifetime, she took in and cared for many of her family members without any hesitation. She quite literally sacrificed her life for the well-being of others.

As we put our beloved Maria Elena Martinez to rest, we are faced with some financial challenges. Our goal is to raise $7,500.00 to cover the remaining cost of her funeral expenses. If you could find it in your heart to help in any way possible, it would be greatly appreciated.
