Con gran pesar, compartimos la noticia del fallecimiento de nuestra querida, María Leonor Alvarado, el 6 de Agosto de 2023.

Tía Leonor tuvo una gran vida y era muy conocida en su ciudad natal de El Progreso Yoro, Honduras. Haberla conocido era amarla; tocó la vida de todos los que conoció con su amabilidad, generosidad y humor. Su espíritu libre tenía una forma de hacer reír a todos en la habitación. Fue una maravillosa hija, madre, hermana, abuela, tía y amiga. Su espíritu era realmente único y todos sus queridos la extrañan mucho.

Esta campaña está destinado a ayudar con el costo de los arreglos funerarios y el servicio conmemorativo. En nombre de toda nuestra familia, gracias por su apoyo y agradecemos cualquier contribución que se brinde. Entendemos que no todos pueden contribuir financialmente, en cambio, sus pensamientos y oraciones también son bienvenidos.

Descanse en paz, tía Leonor. Siempre estarás en nuestros corazones.

With a heavy heart, we share the news that our beloved family member, Maria Leonor Alvarado, passed on August 6th 2023.

Tia Leonor had such a big life and was very well known in her hometown of El Progreso Yoro, Honduras. To have known her was to love her; she touched the lives of everyone she met with her kindness, generosity, and humor. Her free spirit had a way of making everyone in the room laugh. She was a marvelous daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend. Her spirit was truly one of a kind and she is missed dearly by all her loved ones.

This GoFundMe is intended to help with the cost of the funeral arrangements and memorial service. On behalf of our entire family, thank you for your support and we appreciate any contributions that are given. We understand that not everyone can contribute financially, instead, your thoughts and prayers are welcome as well.

She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Rest in peace, Tia Leonor. You will always be in our hearts.
