In Loving Memory of Mario Baez

Dear Friends and Family,

It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we share the tragic and unexpected passing of our friend, Mario Baez. His sudden departure has left an irreplaceable void in our lives, especially for his brother, Pablo, who is now faced with the overwhelming task of planning his funeral and dealing with the immense grief of losing Mario.

Mario had the biggest heart and was the kindest person. He was thoughtful, caring, and was always there to support his loved ones. He was a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. His loss is not only deeply felt by his family, but also by the many friends and acquaintances who had the privilege of knowing him.

Mario was an integral part of the Empire Cake team as a decorator and was loved by all. For the past 8 years, he put his heart into his work here and was always striving to learn and grow as an artist. Mario loved to share his knowledge and was often found helping new employees as they learned how to decorate and design cakes. He was the epitome of a team player and never failed to stop what he was doing if someone needed help. Mario was a pillar of the Empire Cake family, and we are forever grateful for the memories that we have with him.

As Mario’s family navigates this incredibly difficult time, we are reaching out to ask for your support. The funds raised through this campaign will be used to help cover the costs of Mario’s funeral expenses, and to provide financial assistance to his family.
