In loving memory of Mark Papp, for Noah and Emma
Donation protected
While on a business trip to train for a much-anticipated new job, Mark Papp unexpectedly passed away in his sleep on Monday, July 8, 2024, leaving behind his sixteen-year old son Noah and fourteen-year old daughter Emma.
We are heartbroken.
Everyone who crossed paths with Mark Papp knew him as a kind-hearted, generous of spirit man who always upheld the highest values in how he showed up for people. His quick laugh, charming goofiness and ability to see the upside of any downturn endeared him to many, whether family, friend, neighbor or total stranger.
Mark cared for everyone with the same strength of character. He always answered his phone. He always came through, sleeves rolled up, willing to do whatever it took to help someone in need. He always left things better off, and blessed us with his special ability to take it all in stride no matter how challenging, insurmountable or daunting the circumstance. His strength and dependability was comforting to lean into. Creative, capable, resilient, real— he was a true one whose positive influence will be felt by many for years to come.
He has raised his son Noah and daughter Emma as a single father for the past ten years. His children were his entire world, the driving force for what gave his life meaning, and he never wavered in his commitment, dedication, and profound love for them.
He needs us now. To help stand in the gap left by his tragic, too-soon exit from this world. To help uplift his family and provide a safety net for Emma and Noah as they navigate next steps.
Many have asked, and so we are setting up this GoFundMe as a place to help provide support for Noah and Emma. Anything contributed will go directly to providing for their future and well-being and will be managed by Mark’s mother (their grandmother) Ann Papp.
We thank you in advance for your care in helping support Mark’s family at this time of unexpected loss. He would be touched by the outpouring of love, and heartened by the sense that his children are uplifted and held by community in their moment of need.
