In Loving Memory of Masao Tsuru

We are heartbroken by the news that our dear friend Masao Tsuru passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. In Masao's memory, we are running this fundraiser to support Masao's family with burial costs.
Masao brought joy to many lives with his gentle soul and bright spirit. He cherished his culture, community and relationships and always saw the humanity in every person he engaged. He showered his family and close friends with the utmost love. He moved from his beloved home country of Japan to pursue and achieve academic and professional success as a Clinical Psychologist.
Masao was a loyal son. He was a dear friend and colleague to many of us. Masao was loved by everyone who knew him and will be terribly missed. He enjoyed working with his staff, colleagues and clients. He loved surfing, traveling, his cars, and delicious meals, particularly with family and friends.
Masao was a shining example of maintaining genuine connectedness to what is truly good in this world. To honor his memory, the best we can do is embody this example. In connectedness, we stand with Masao's family and close friends. His family and close friends are currently in the process of arranging for his remains to return home to his parents and beloved country. For those who wish and are able to make a contribution, please do so. All donations will go directly to help his family with expenses for his burial costs. Hiroshi Otaguro, Masao's childhood friend, will be withdrawing the donations and will coordinate with Masao's family to ensure that all donations go directly to Masao's family to pay for funeral expenses.
