Our precious darling matmat,
Matthew Jimmy Wilson (matmat) was the first child, first grandchild and first nephew who was born on the 2nd of February 2022 It’s hard to put into words how special he was to his family. He was a very handsome cheeky little boy that brought alot of happiness into our life’s. On the 3rd of February 2023 a day after his 1st birthday matmat had a tragic accident, fell and hit his main artery. The family and hospital did all they could but he sadly passed away early on the 4th of February. 3 weeks after our darling boy left us, his beautiful baby sister “Lottie” was born. Our life’s should of been perfect with our two beautiful baby’s. But instead it was full of heartache and pain. Our life’s will never be the same. We want to give back to the people who helped us through the hardest time of our life’s and keep Mat Mats memory alive as he was to special to be forgotten.
We will be doing a 5k run in Richmond, a golf charity day and other charity events to honour his short but perfect life
The charities we are giving back to are- Margaret Clitherow Trust Charity (No. 1163629 ) This charity was sent to us by the Royal Berkshire hospital, they came to our home a few days after matmat passed. They supported us in every-way they could and still do till this day, they still visit and call to check up on the family.
South central ambulance charity- Registered Charity no 1049778. Royal Berkshire ambulance who tried everything they could possibly do to help our darling boy.
And lastly St Sebastian’s Church - where we had matmats funeral and is his final resting place the church have been a massive family to us all, they have give us love and hope that helps us get through each day.
