In loving memory of Matt Borla

It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating and unexpected news of the passing of our beloved Matt Borla. He left us peacefully in his sleep at home on January 18. The void he leaves behind is immeasurable. As we come together to mourn this profound loss, we are reaching out to seek support for his wife, Kim Borla, so she may grieve without the fear of losing her home. Matt was the life of the party and known for his sloppy kisses and passion for Seahawks and UW college football. He was an unforgettable character to everyone fortunate enough to know him, and the impact of his absence will be felt for years to come.

Kim is now confronted with an unexpected financial burden. We have set a goal of $25k to allow her at least 3 months of worry-free mourning in the comfort of her home.

For those of you who did not know Matt and Kim, they owned a small painting business and were just recently making strides to recover from the impacts of the pandemic. Your contributions will go directly toward assisting Kim with the financial responsibilities she now faces on her own, such as paying the mortgage and other home expenses she has now incurred without a revenue stream from the business.
