In loving memory of Mauricio Macedo

Hello, we are the Macedo Family and we just suffered the sudden loss of our beloved Mauricio. We wanted to create this as a way of allowing people to join us in our mourning. Mauricio was a son, a brother, a friend, and in what we feel was most important to him a father. Mauri will live on through us and his two sons, Matthew and Michael Macedo who are his pride and joy. Mauri was a vibrant personality who as many would advocate to would rejoice in the gathering of friends and family. He loved to get people together. He was loving, caring, and was passionate about soccer which he passed on to his boys. It is always difficult to properly express the feelings one has for the sudden loss of someone so close to our hearts but all we want to do is honor his memory and we would like to share that Mauri was at one of the happiest moments in his life prior to passing away. As the lucky ones will know, because Mauri will have shared this with them, his oldest son had just been called to the youth Mexico National Team which Mauri would express as "You could offer me a billion dollars and I wouldn't exchange it for this". As for Michael, he would never hold back in bloating about his golazos. He was proud of both his boys and proud to be a Macedo.

All proceeds from this will go to the memorial and funeral services as well as to the support of Matthew and Michael.

May Mauri Rest in Peace and fall into the love of God.

Hola somos la Familia Macedo y acabamos de sufrir la repentina pérdida de nuestro querido Mauricio. Queríamos crear esto como una forma de permitir que la gente se uniera a nosotros en nuestro dolor. Mauricio era un hijo, un hermano, un amigo y en lo que sentimos que era lo más importante para él un padre. Mauri vivirá a través de nosotros y de sus dos hijos, Matthew y Michael Macedo, quienes son su orgullo y alegría. Mauri era una personalidad vibrante que, como muchos dirían, se regocijaría en la reunión de amigos y familiares. Le encantaba reunir a la gente. Era cariñoso, de buen corazon y un apasionado del fútbol que transmitió a sus hijos. Siempre es difícil expresar adecuadamente los sentimientos que uno tiene por la pérdida repentina de alguien tan cercano a nuestro corazón, pero todo lo que queremos hacer es honrar su memoria y nos gustaría compartir que Mauri estuvo en uno de los momentos más felices de su vida antes de fallecer. Como sabrán los afortunados, porque Mauri les habrá compartido esto, su hijo mayor acababa de ser convocado a la Selección Juvenil de México lo que Mauri expresaría así "Me podrían ofrecer mil millones de dólares y no los cambiaría por esto". En cuanto a Michael, nunca se abstendría de presumir por sus golazos. Estaba orgulloso de sus dos hijos y orgulloso de ser Macedo.

Todos los ingresos de esto se destinarán a los servicios funerarios y conmemorativos, así como al apoyo de Matthew y Michael.

Que Mauri descanse en paz y caiga en el amor de Dios.
