In Loving Memory of Mauricio Sanchez
Heaven has gained another angel! On Sunday, May 30th at 2:30 pm our sweet boy, Mauricio (Morris) earned his wings and flew to heaven. My uncle fought a long, hard difficult fight. He is a cancer survivor, a special needs child and was born with many health issues that no person should ever have to deal with. Since he was 2 weeks old, he’s been in and out of hospitals fighting for his life for 53 years. Imagine—an innocent child that did no harm to anyone went through so much pain. But he smiled through it all and loved life. God choose us to take care of him and that is what my grandma, and family did. Even when doctors said there was nothing else that could be done, he proved them wrong time after time. Morris fought for 3 months in the hospital and each day he expressed how much pain he was in. He tried the hardest he could to stay with us but god knew it was time for him to finally spread his wings and rest peacefully. He had nothing but love for all-- God, his family and especially his toy cars!It is with a grieving heart that we ask that you help us lay him to rest and give him a beautiful, traditional burial. His mother Carmen, Brother Jose, Sister Marlene and, nieces and nephew thank you all in advance for your prayers and words of condolences through this difficult time.

¡El cielo ha ganado otro ángel! El domingo 30 de mayo a las 2:30 pm nuestro dulce niño, Mauricio (Morris) ganó sus alas y voló al cielo. Mi tío libró una lucha larga y difícil. Es un sobreviviente de cáncer, un niño con necesidades especiales y nació con muchos problemas de salud con los que ninguna persona debería tener que lidiar nunca. Desde que tenía 2 semanas, ha estado entrando y saliendo de hospitales luchando por su vida durante 53 años. Imagínese, un niño inocente que no hizo daño a nadie pasó por tanto dolor. Pero sonrió a pesar de todo y amaba la vida. Dios nos eligió para cuidarlo y eso es lo que hico mi abuela y mi familia. Incluso, cuando los médicos dijeron que no se podía hacer nada más, él les demostró que estaban equivocados una y otra vez. Morris luchó durante 3 meses en el hospital y cada día expresaba cuánto dolor estaba. Hizo todo lo posible por quedarse con nosotros, pero Dios sabía que era hora de que finalmente extendiera sus alas y descansara en paz. No demostraba nada que amor por todos: Dios, su familia y especialmente sus carros de juguete. Es con un corazón Pesado que le pedimos que nos ayude a ponerlo a descansar y darle un entierro hermoso y tradicional. Su madre Carmen, el hermano José, la hermana Marlene y sus sobrinas y sobrino les Agradecemos por todos sus oraciones y palabras de pésame por este difícil momento.
